STRONG COMMUNITIES MEAN STRONG SCHOOLS
AND STRONG SCHOOLS MEAN A STRONG MINNEAPOLIS
Over the last few months, our communities have stepped up to help our schools in every possible way. While some elected officials sat on the sidelines, parents, caregivers, teachers and neighbors showed up. We’re making sure every kid can get to school safely. We’re delivering groceries to families in need. We’re raising money for rent through mutual aid.
Now that we’ve seen firsthand what we can do when we’re organized, there’s no turning back. I’m just one of the many people in our city who answered the call when our schools needed help. And I’m running for School Board to bring the love, energy and organization from our communities into the policy-making that will shape our schools for years to come. Because strong communities mean strong schools. And strong schools mean a strong Minneapolis.
